Englewood Kitchen Remodeling Excellence

Kitchen and Bath Remodeling Built for the Englewood Way of Life

Englewood has a character that is hard to find elsewhere on Florida's Gulf Coast. Homeowners here are settled into a pace that suits them, and when they decide to remodel, they want the result to reflect that. That perspective shapes the way remodeling works here. Kitchen remodeling in Englewood, FL is not about following a trend. It is about getting a space that fits the way you actually live, whether you cook for two or entertain guests regularly.

A full kitchen renovation covers the complete transformation of your kitchen, from layout changes and cabinet installation to countertops, tile, plumbing, and electrical. It is a significant investment in your home, and the outcome depends almost entirely on the team you choose to handle it.

Kitchen Classics has been serving homeowners across Charlotte and Sarasota Counties since 1984. Our team handles every part of your project from the first design conversation through final installation, with all trades coordinated in-house and no handoffs to outside crews.

A Dream Kitchen Built in Englewood

A homeowner building a new home in Englewood came to us with a clear vision. She wanted a modern, minimalist kitchen with clean lines, light cabinetry, and a contrasting island that would anchor the space. The design had to feel intentional without feeling overdone.

Our team worked with her to create a kitchen that matched her vision exactly. The finished kitchen features flat-front cabinetry in a warm, natural tone paired with a bold, dark island, a herringbone tile backsplash, and warm wood-look flooring that ties the room together. The modern design was exactly what she had pictured for her dream home.

This is the kind of project that starts with a conversation. If you have a vision for your kitchen, we have the experience to make it real.

What We Do for Englewood Homeowners

Kitchen Classics offers full-service remodeling and cabinet work for kitchens and bathrooms throughout the Englewood area. Every project is scoped carefully and assigned to a project manager who oversees the work from scheduling through completion.

Bathroom Remodeling

Kitchen remodeling costs vary depending on the scope of work, the materials selected, and the condition of the existing space. A kitchen makeover focused on cabinets and new countertops is priced differently from a full gut renovation with layout changes and new plumbing.

At your first showroom consultation, we walk through your goals and give you a ballpark estimate before you commit to anything. No deposits are required for that initial conversation.

What Englewood Homes Ask of a Remodeling Team

Englewood's housing stock covers a wide range. Some homeowners are updating beach cottages near Manasota Key that have been in the family for decades. Others are working with canal-front properties in Oyster Creek, homes with a galley layout, or newer builds that need finishes to match a specific vision. Each type of home brings its own set of considerations for a remodeling team.

Older homes in the area often have concrete construction and mono slab foundations. Our team is experienced with both and knows how to plan a project around the realities of how these homes are built rather than treating every job the same way.

Vacation property owners in the Englewood area also approach remodeling differently. Durability and low-maintenance materials tend to be a higher priority when a home sees rotating occupants or sits unoccupied for stretches of time. We factor those needs into material recommendations and design decisions from the start.

Forty Years of Work That Speaks for Itself

Kitchen Classics has been a state-licensed residential contractor serving Charlotte and Sarasota Counties since 1984. In that time, our team has completed more than 2,000 kitchen and bath projects for homeowners throughout Southwest Florida. We guide you through the entire process, from the first design conversation to the final installation, with a single point of contact throughout.

Our credentials are straightforward to verify. We hold a residential contractor license, CRC1329748, carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage, and have maintained an active membership with the National Kitchen and Bath Association for 30 years. We are also an active BBB member and the recipient of the Charlotte Sun Readers' Choice Award for Best Kitchen Cabinets.

Every project we complete is covered by a 5-year labor and workmanship warranty. It is a standard we have held ourselves to for decades, and it is backed by a company that has been in business long enough to stand behind it.

See Every Option Before You Decide

Our showroom in Port Charlotte is about a 30-minute drive from Englewood via SR-776. It is the best way to see cabinet displays, countertop samples, and finish options in person before committing to anything.

Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are always welcome. Someone is on site to guide you through the displays and answer any questions you bring through the door.

Permits in Englewood — What You Need to Know

Englewood sits across two counties, and the permitting jurisdiction for your project depends on exactly where your property is located. Homes on the Charlotte County side are permitted through Charlotte County. Properties in the Sarasota County portion of Englewood permit through Sarasota County. The rules and requirements are not identical between the two, and knowing which one applies matters before a project begins.

Kitchen Classics handles permitting directly for every project we take on. Our team knows which office covers each address and what that office requires, including how the state's 50% rule is applied locally. You will not need to figure that out on your own.

How a Kitchen Classics Project Works

Every project starts the same way, with a conversation. Here is what to expect from start to finish.

1

Showroom Consultation

You visit our Port Charlotte showroom to walk through your kitchen design ideas, style preferences, and goals for the space. We discuss layout possibilities, material options, and construction considerations. At the end of this meeting, we will give you a ballpark estimate for your project.

2

Site Measurement

If you want to move forward, we will schedule a visit to your home to take detailed measurements. This gives us everything we need to develop an accurate plan for your specific space.

3

Design and Renderings

Using Cyncly and Chief Architect software, we develop floor plans, 3D renderings, and a complete budget based on your selections. We make as many revisions as needed until the design is right.

4

Agreement and Ordering

Once the design is finalized, we prepare an agreement and collect a deposit to begin ordering your cabinets and materials. Delivery takes 2 to 10 weeks, depending on the cabinet line selected.

5

Scheduling and Construction

Before demolition begins, all tradespeople are scheduled so work can move forward without gaps or delays. A project manager oversees the work daily and inspects each phase before the next one begins.

6

Completion

Most projects reach completion within 4 to 6 weeks from demo day. From your first showroom visit to the finishing touches on your new kitchen or bath, the average timeline is approximately 3 months.

Kitchen Remodeling Questions from Englewood Homeowners

Yes. We work on both new construction and existing homes throughout the Englewood area. Our Englewood project featured on this page is a new construction home where the homeowner wanted a modern, minimalist kitchen with a contrasting island, and that is exactly what we delivered.
Yes. Our Port Charlotte showroom displays four of our cabinet lines in person, and we carry seven lines total. Countertop samples span quartz, granite, natural stone, Dekton, and more.
We handle both. Combining projects under one contract means one team, one project manager, and one coordinated schedule. Many homeowners find it more efficient to tackle both spaces together rather than going through the process twice.
